Mini booklet with fantastic liner historical notes. So I don't come off as brainless, I do prefer the New 2013 Mix/Master. Both mixes have great stereo separation, Blackmore always on the left, Lord on right and Gillian, Paice, and Glover more center, except during solos. Beautiful, big punchy sound, high volume is a bonus. Lets take The Mule Drum Solo, I am not able to tell if Paice hits the drums 2000 times or 2010 times.Īnyway, sonics.

Note: I believe the sonic differences between the two mixes is for the most part great and equal, the 1972 mix has a little bit more talking of band and very slightly different way of playing. I for what ever reason preferred the first 7 version New 2013 Mix/Master. A little confusing but if you purchase disc it all makes sense. 7 tracks given to you Osaka, August 16th (New 2013 Mix/Master) and 2013 Remaster of the original 1972 mix which unlike the first all Aug 16th Osaka tracks has the last, same song, 7 tracks recorded 2 tracks in Tokyo and two tracks with Aug 15th and 17th. Stereo Sonics: You are allowed two choices in straight order. How many adjectives can I come up with? Dynamite! Performance: Having just come off the recording of the successful studio album Machine Head (get the DVD~A),I believe this band is at there pinnacle, and is just a heavy, very aggressive and in sync with each other. I chose to listen to the stereo only choice via the 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio 24-bit/96Khz. Rolling Stones Readers poll ranks 6th best live album of all time, that means something. I certainly agree and this Blu Ray is at the very top of my HFPA collection, a powerhouse release. Slash says" One of the most epic rock and roll albums ever recorded".

I am surprised to find no reviews for this incredibly awesome Blu Ray disc.
